MOORHEAD, Minn. (September 12, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's soccer earned a road victory against Concordia-Moorhead, 2-1, in overtime in Moorhead, Minnesota.

A scoreless first half set the stage for an action-packed second half led by NWU's Kyle Hansen. Hansen scored his first goal of the season in the 61st minute off of an Alex Aguilar pass. The Cobbers got the equalizer in the 69th minute but neither team could put the game away in regulation. 

At the 97 minute mark, Aguilar again found Hansen and Hansen nailed the game-winner with his second goal of the game. It is the second time this season that Nebraska Wesleyan has netted the game-winner in the extra period. 

Hansen led the Prairie Wolves with three shots as Andrew Davidson, Jackson McGowan, and Jakob Hulquest also recorded a shot in the win. In net, Zach Selph earned the win as he tallied nine saves, with six of those in the second half. NWU picked up the road win despite being outshot 17-6.
