Track & Field Wraps Up Division III Elite Indoor Track and Field Championships

WAVERLY, Iowa ( March 13, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan men's and women's track and field wrapped up the Division III Elite Indoor Track and Field Championship at Hoover Fieldhouse in Waverly, Iowa.

Bre Geary was sixth with a time of 7.97 in the 60-meter dash. In the 800-meter run, Allie McLuen finished eighth with a time of 2:21.86. The 4x400-meter relay team of Isabella Hilger, Megan Carley, Reagan Janzen, and Camryn Larsen finished fourth with a time of 3:56.83.

Garrett Lenners finished eighth in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.53. Marshall Chasek turned in a time of 8.34, which placed him sixth in the 60-meter hurdles. The 4x400-meter relay team of Kyle Dickinson, Ben Christenson, Gabe Anderson, and Rudy Vrtiska finished fourth with a time of 3:18.80. In the men's long jump, Matt Winter had a mark of 22'-00.75" to place fifth in the event.

Selections for the Division III Elite Indoor Championships were based on the top-16 individual times or marks and the top 12 relay times verified by TFRRS.org for teams that chose to be eligible for the event.

Nebraska Wesleyan begins the outdoor season on April 2 at the Doane Invitational in Crete, Nebraska.
