Box Score 1 | Box Score 2
LINCOLN, Neb. (October 2, 2021) - Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis dropped a doubleheader, falling, 8-1, to Dubuque and a, 5-4, heartbreaker to Wartburg at the Lincoln Sports Foundation Sports Complex.

Brooke Sailer earned one of the biggest victories for NWU this season against the Spartans to start the day. Sailer earned a 7-5, 6-0 victory at No. 1 Singles over Dubuque's top player. UD entered the match atop of the American Rivers Conference standings. Earlier this season, Sailer also bested the reigning conference player of the year.

The momentum from Sailer's win carried into the day's second match against Wartburg. NWU nearly beat last season's A-R-C runner-up but fell by a single point in the match.

Addi Duranski and Kailey Jay-Kissler  earned the doubles point for the Prairie Wolves with an easy 8-0 victory at No. 2 Doubles. Sailer took another point at No. 1 Singles with a 6-4, 6-2 victory. Crystal Craft earned Nebraska Wesleyan's third point with a 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 3 Singles. Duranski added another hard fought win at No. 4 Singles by the score of 6-7, 7-6, 6-1.
