CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Wartburg College won both the women's and men's team title with Nebraska Wesleyan University finishing 2
nd in both races at the Coe College Cross Country Triangular on Saturday afternoon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
In the men's race, the Knights had a perfect score getting the top five individual placings to score 15 points with NWU placing 2
nd at 57 points.
Norbert Weijenberg was the top NWU runner in 8
th place with a time of 26:50. Finishing right behind him was teammate
Preston Decker in 9
th place running 27:18.
The Wartburg women won the team race with 17 points, compared to 43 for second place NWU.
NWU was led by
Leah Treffer who placed 5
th in a time of 23:06. Wartburg had the top four individual runners led by Aubrie Fisher who ran 22:06.
Camryn Larsen was 6
th for the Prairie Wolves and
Madi Bahe was also in the top ten with a 9
th place finish.
