LINCOLN, Neb. – For the fourth straight week, Nebraska Wesleyan junior
Dayton Dolincheck was selected as the American Rivers Conference Women's Indoor Track & Field Performer of the Week. This is the fifth time of her career that she has been conference field performer of the week.
Dolincheck (Bellevue, Neb./Bellevue East HS) won the shot put at the Fred Beile Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 2) hosted by Doane University. It was the third straight meet that Dolincheck has won the women's shot put.
She registered a season-best mark of 47-0.75 to win the event. Her mark of 47-0.75 is currently the third best shot put distance in NCAA Division III this season.
Dolincheck ranks 4
th on the NWU indoor all-time charts in the shot put.
The Nebraska Wesleyan women's indoor track & field team is ranked 10
th in the latest NCAA Division III Computer rankings.
Nebraska Wesleyan track & field will compete this weekend at the Grinnell Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 9) in Grinnell, Iowa.
