LINCOLN, Neb. -- 3rd-ranked Wartburg College extended their conference dual winning streak to 214 straight matches as the Knights defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 39-6 in American Rivers Conference action on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 9) at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.
Eron Haynes (133) and
Justin Hennessy (285) recorded victories on the day for the Prairie Wolves. Haynes had the most exciting match of the day with a high scoring 23-17 win over Brennan Doebel. Hennessy then controlled his match winning 4-0 to close out the day.
NWU is now 1-1 overall on the season in duals. Wartburg, ranked No. 3 in the nation, is 1-0 after their first dual.
