DENVER, Colo. – Five players scored in double figures and Nebraska Wesleyan jumped out to a huge halftime lead then cruised to a 90-64 victory over Johnson & Wales University in women's basketball action on Saturday night (Nov. 23) in Denver, Colo.
The Prairie Wolves (3-2) led by 29 points at halftime, hitting seven 3-pointers in the first half. JWU (0-3) outscored NWU by three points in the second half, but the lead was way too much to overcome.

Caitlin Navratil became the school's career all-time leading scorer in the 4
th quarter. Navratil finished with 20 points giving her 1,505 for her career to break the previous record of 1,502 that was set over 30 years ago by Sharon Holscher (1982-85).
NWU fell behind early in Friday's loss to Colorado College, but turned the tables on Saturday at Johnson & Wales. The Prairie Wolves shot 60 percent from the field in the first quarter to jump ahead 27-15. They scored 26 points in the second quarter and held JWU to only nine on 4-17 shooting.
For the game, the Prairie Wolves shot 46.9 percent overall, hitting a season-best 43.9 percent from 3-point land. NWU was 10-23 from long range with six different players making a 3-pointer.
The Prairie Wolves outrebounded JWU by seven and forced them into 23 turnovers scoring 24 points off the turnovers. NWU took better care of the ball with 15 turnovers in the game.
Navratil led the way with 20 points and eight rebounds, but she wasn't alone on Saturday with several big contributions from different players.
Three Prairie Wolves came off the bench to score in double figures.
McKenzie Teten went 2-3 from 3-point range and 6-9 at the free throw line to score 16 points off the bench.
Sydney Skupa scored 13 points with eight rebounds on 5-8 shooting.
Sierra Roseby went a perfect 3-3 from the field, including 2-2 on 3-pointers to score 12 points.
Mikenzie Delgado was the fifth player in double figures with 13 points and a team-best four assists.
Katey Guzman scored a game-high 29 points to lead all scorers for Johnson & Wales.
