th-ranked Central College defeated Nebraska Wesleyan 34-13 in American Rivers Conference wrestling on Thursday night (Dec. 6) at Snyder Arena.
Nebraska Wesleyan battled hard against the nationally-ranked Dutch and picked up three victories on the night.

Eron Haynes defeated Chase Poston by fall in 1:44. Central won the next three matches, including two by fall to take a 15-6 advantage.

Jared Nickman held on for a 2-1 victory over Jordan Challen to pull the Prairie Wolves back within six points at 15-9. Central then got two more falls and a major decision to begin to pull away. The closest match of the evening was at 197 pounds as Gavin Babcock edged
Ben Lodema of NWU by decision 5-4 on riding time advantage.
Justin Hennessy closed the night out on an exciting note for the Prairie Wolves as he posted a 16-4 major decision victory over Duncan Lee to bring the home crowd to their feet as the dual concluded.
NWU is at the Doane Open this weekend in Crete, Neb.
