Omaha, Neb. -- The Great Plains Athletic Conference opener did not go well for the Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball team as they dropped a 3-0 straight set decision at College of Saint Mary in Omaha on Wednesday night. CSM won in scores of 25-21, 25-19, 25-15.
It was the first GPAC victory for CSM as they just joined the conference for the 2015-16 school year.

The first set was tied at 12-12 before the Flames went on a run to go up five points. NWU did force CSM into three additional set points, but the Flames finally pulled away for the 25-21 win.
NWU led 10-8 in set two then allowed five straight points and never led again. Set three was more of the same as CSM ran off six straight points and cruised to the win.
As a team, NWU hit just .057, compared to .177 for College of Saint Mary.
Malory Dahl led the way with 11 kills for the Prairie Wolves.
Kelsey Bahe dished out 15 assists and

NWU will finally play a home match on Saturday as they host Hastings College at 5 pm in Snyder Arena as part of the Homecoming festivities.
