SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- The Nebraska Wesleyan University Gold Rush dance team came away as co-Champions at the 2015 Great Plains Athletic Conference Championships held on February 7 at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. 

NWU was named Co-Champion along with Midland University.  The Gold Rush team and the squad from Midland both scored 100 points.  After official review of the judges' scores and procedures it was determined that there would be co-champions for 2015 in the dance competition.

The Nebraska Wesleyan cheerleaders finished third in the non-stunt division of the GPAC Cheerleading Championships.  Hastings College won the event.
