HASTINGS, Neb. -- Hastings College swept past Nebraska Wesleyan University, 3-0, in GPAC volleyball action on Wednesday night at Lynn Farrell Arena in Hastings. The Broncos won the three sets in scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-16.
21st-ranked Hastings completes the season sweep over the Prairie Wolves and improves to 19-6 overall and drops NWU to 6-18 and 0-12 in GPAC play. The Prairie Wolves have now lost seven straight matches, winning only two sets during that stretch that had them face four NAIA nationally-ranked teams.
NWU struggled on the attack once again with 26 kills and 22 errors for a team hitting percentage of .039. Meanwhile, Hastings hit .374 with 40 kills and six errors.

Kierra Harder each had seven kills to lead the NWU attack.
Kennedy Hegert, the GPAC leader in digs, had 17 digs in the match.
Sage Meyer pounded out 12 kills to lead the Broncos.
