Having their Great Plains Athletic Conference winning streak snapped four days earlier, the Nebraska Wesleyan University women's tennis team bounced back nicely with an impressive 8-1 victory at Concordia on Wednesday night.

NWU remains in second place in the league standings with a 4-1 GPAC record and 8-9 mark overall.  Concordia falls to 1-10, 1-3 in GPAC.

The Prairie Wolves won all three doubles matches to start the day on Wednesday.  Hannah Husmann and Natalie Cech won 8-6 at No. 1 doubles, Jennifer Heywood/Addie Litterick blanked their opponent at No. 2 doubles and Courtney Harder/Jaime Bridges won 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.

Concordia picked up their lone win of the day at No. 1 singles as Katelyn Koll defeated Husmann 6-2, 6-0.  From their, Nebraska Wesleyan rolled to wins in the other five singles tilts.  Cech won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles and Heywood won 8-5 at No. 3 singles.

In all three singles matches from No. 4 to No. 6, the Prairie Wolves won in scores of 6-0, 6-0 as they easily took care of their Bulldog opponents.

NWU will close out the regular season on April 26 with matches at Morningside College and Mount Marty College.
