LINCOLN, Neb. -- Nebraska Wesleyan shattered the previous school record for 3-pointers made in the game as the Prairie Wolves knocked down 23 from long range in a 110-97 victory over Simpson College in the final game of the 26th Annual Snyder Classic on Saturday night.
NWU won both games of the classic to improve their overall record to 2-3 and 45-7 all-time in the Snyder Classic.Â

NWU junior guard
Trey Bardsley was named the Snyder Classic MVP as he had a huge night in the win. After scoring 19 on Friday in an off shooting night, Bardsley came back with 26 points on Saturday hitting 6-10 from 3-point land. Bardsley made the NWU offense click as he also dished out 14 assists (1 shy of the school record) for his first career double-double. The Beatrice, Neb., native also had eight rebounds.
Bardsley was far from a one-man show for the Prairie Wolves offense. Junior guard
Keithan Karn had his offensive breakout game with a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds to earn All-Tournament honors. Karn was 5-10 from 3-point range off the bench.Â
Max Ritchie was the third NWU player in double figures with 12 points on 4-6 from 3-point range.
NWU surpassed the 100-point mark for the third time this season and shot 52.8 percent from the field for the game. The Prairie Wolves also had a +12 advantage on the glass with 45 rebounds compared to 33 for Simpson.
