Nebraska Wesleyan led 42-41 at the half after leading by as many as nine points in the first 20 minutes.  A layup by Nick Stine with 7:24 left in the first half put the Prairie Wolves ahead 25-16.  Grace slowly chipped away and a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer by Austin Shappel pulled them within one point.

The lead changed seven times in the second half.  Grace actually built up a 10-point lead at 67-57 with 10:53 remaining but NWU came charging back.  The Prairie Wolves went on a 11-4 run over the next three minutes and a 3-pointer by Trey Bardsley tied the game at 71-71.  The high flying Prairie Wolves managed just 12 points the final seven minutes of the game.

Travis Giesselmann scored a game-high 25 points to lead the Prairie Wolves.  Giesselmann was 10-15 from the floor for his career high.  Three other players scored in double digits for NWU as 16 total players got in the game.  Trey Bardsley was 5-12 from 3-point range for 19 points, Nick Stine came off the bench for 11 points and Byron Thompson scored 10.
