MITCHELL, S.D. -- Nebraska Wesleyan completed their successful sweep of weekend matches as the Prairie Wolves went on the road and rolled past Dakota Wesleyan, 3-0, in GPAC volleyball action on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 18) at Fosness Arena in Mitchell, S.D.
NWU, ranked 14th in the AVCA/DIII poll, won over the Tigers in scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-17 to improve to 18-5 overall and 6-5 in GPAC. Dakota Wesleyan remains winless in GPAC action at 0-11.
The Prairie Wolves had 51 total kills in the match and limited their overall errors with just one service error.
Malory Dahl had a match-high 17 kills to pace the Prairie Wolves. Dahl hit .467 overall as she had only three hitting errors in 30 total attacks.
Katelyn Walsh pounded out 13 kills with a .458 hitting percentage.
Kelsey Bahe dished out 26 assists, while
Alexa Rosenau had 16.
Mackenzie Ashton led the way with 22 digs in the match.
Dakota Wesleyan was led by Lauren Tadlock with 14 kills.
NWU moved into a tie for fifth place in the GPAC standings with Briar Cliff, just a half game behind their next opponent Concordia University.
