The Nebraska Wesleyan University men's basketball team will begin its 2013-14 season this Friday night (Nov. 15) when they host Grace University in the home opener for the Prairie Wolves. Tip-off is set for 7 pm at Snyder Arena in Lincoln.

NWU will returns all five starters and nine of the top ten players from last year's squad that finished 13-12 overall. The Prairie Wolves ended the year winning five of their last six games to earn their most victories since the 2007-08 season.

Head Coach Cam Schuknecht, who is in his 8
th season as the head coach of the Prairie Wolves, has a veteran squad with seven seniors and returns 94 percent of the scoring from last season.

Three Prairie Wolves are back after earning All-GPAC recognition in 2012-13. Guard
Eric Jackson (Lincoln, Neb.) has led the Prairie Wolves in scoring the past two seasons and ranks third all-time at NWU in career 3-pointers. Forward
Trevor Johnson (Lincoln, Neb.) has averaged double figures in each of the past two years to earn honorable mention All-GPAC two straight years. Forward
Tim Schweitzer (Bedford, Iowa) is the team's best inside presence and is the top passer on the squad.
