Theresa Naumann is in her first season as an assistant volleyball coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Naumann comes to NWU after spending the past five seasons as an assistant women’s volleyball coach at the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota. Prior to that stint she served as an assistant coach at Totino-Grace High School in 2009 and was a coach with the Sartell Volleball Club for five years both during and after college.
The Columbia Heights, Minn., native was a volleyball player at College of Saint Benedict from 2004-07 playing both right side hitter and middle blocker. During her four years she led the Blazers to the NCAA III Tournament twice, advancing as far as the Sweet 16 in the 2005 season.
Naumann earned her bachelor’s degree in nutrition with a minor in sports medicine from College of Saint Benedict in May 2008. She also works as an assistant director of admissions at NWU.
