Paul Goodwin begins his first season as an assistant volleyball coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2017.
Goodwin brings over 13 years of coaching experience to the Prairie Wolves staff. Since 2010, he has been the varsity assistant head coach for VcNebraska. Each year his teams have qualified for postseason play.
He served as the varsity assistant coach at Millard South High School during the 2009 school year. He was the head coach at Omaha Mercy HS in 2008, leading the team to a District Runner-up finish. Prior to his time at Omaha Mercy, Goodwin was the head volleyball coach at Omaha Burke HS for two seasons. In 2006 he guided the Bulldogs to a District title and trip to the State Volleyball Tournament. His 2007 team was the district runner-up.
Goodwin is a member of AVCA, Nebraska Coaches Association and is a USA Volleyball C.A.P. Level 1 certified coach.
He earned a B.S. degree in Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
