Jenna Jones

Jenna Jones is in her third season as an assistant volleyball coach at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
 
Prior to coming to NWU, Jones had been a coach for the Nebraska ONE Club volleyball team since 2014.  She also spent two seasons coaching volleyball at Lincoln Southeast High School and coached two years at Denver North High School before returning to Nebraska.  Jones spent three years as a Kearney Club volleyball coach.
 
She was a AVCA Second-Team All-American volleyball player at University of Nebraska-Kearney where she was a four-year member of the Lopers from 2009-12.  Then Jenna Rouzee, she was a two-year team captain and was named the team’s Most Inspirational Player in 2011 and 2012.
 
Jones earned her bachelor of science degree in Sports Administration from UNK, getting a minor in Business Administration.  The Grand Island, Neb., native, played four years of high school volleyball at Grand Island Northwest High School.  She was the starting setter playing for her mother, Diane Rouzee, leading the Vikings to the state finals as a junior and senior.
 
Jenna and her husband Mitch Jones have a daughter, Remi.
