Teresa Cecchetti begins her first season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Nebraska Wesleyan.
Cecchetti comes to NWU from Cornell College where she was an assistant coach the past two seasons. At Cornell, she was part of two Midwest Conference Championship teams with an overall record of 45-6. The 2012-13 team hosted first and second round NCAA Tournament games. While at Cornell, she served as recruiting coordinator and film exchange coordinator. She also handled all facets of practice, specifically guard work.
She was a three-year varsity letterwinner in basketball at Cornell College. She was the First-Year Female Athlete of the year at Cornell. She earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology at Cornell in 2012.
