Charles Williams returns for his third season as an assistant coach for the Prairie Wolves women’s basketball program.
Williams has several years of coaching experience at different levels of basketball. Most recently he was the assistant girls varsity basketball coach at Lincoln Lutheran High School from 2001-10. He was the JV , reserve and freshman head coach at Lincoln Lutheran.
He put together a sports mission team to help conduct basketball and volleyball camps in Muren, Mongolia in July of 2009, 2010 and 2011. Williams helped coach boys and girls basketball camps each summer from 1991-2001 at Camp Marantha in North Platte, Nebraska. He organized and ran a church basketball league in Lincoln from 1976-89 and was a player/coach for the Lincoln Berean Church.
Williams walked on the basketball program at Cedarville College in Cedarville, Ohio and played four years at the NAIA level. The Nebraska City, Neb., native has also worked as a NSAA basketball official.
