Benjamin Smith is in his first season as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Nebraska Wesleyan.
Smith was the head women’s basketball coach for five seasons at McCook Community College from 2007-12. He led the team to a conference championship in 2010-11 and was named the Coach-of-the-Year.
Prior to serving as head coach at McCook C.C., Smith was an assistant women’s basketball coach at University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2006-07 and at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2005-06. He was also a student assistant coach at Northern Arizona University from 2003-05.
Smith, a 2005 graduate of Northern Arizona, is the Associate Director of Admissions at Nebraska Wesleyan.
