Swimming Kicks Off 2026 at Home Triangular

Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan swimming will kick off the second half of its season on Saturday, January 10th at Weary Natatorium.

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN MEN'S SWIMMING
Nebraska Wesleyan men's swimming last competed at the Phoenix Fall Classic in Chicago, Illinois. The Prairie Wolves finished 9th at the meet but saw Mattia Rosatelli break the school record in the 100 breaststroke. The Prairie Wolves have competed at three other meets, including dual wins over Simpson and Minnesota Morris and a second place effort at UNK. 

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN WOMEN'S SWIMMING
Nebraska Wesleyan women's swimming also competed at the Phoexnic Fall Classic and set seven school records in the process. NWU had competed at three prior meets, beating Simpson and Minnesota Morris in dual competition, and placing second at the UNK Invite. 

HEAD COACH KYLE HUNT
Kyle Hunt is in his seventh season as the head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. During his tenure, Hunt has guided the Nebraska Wesleyan men and women to four runner up finishes at the American Rivers Conference Swim and Dive Championships. During the 2023-24 season, Hunt led the Nebraska Wesleyan men's team to its first American Rivers Conference Championship. Hunt's tenure has seen countless All-Conference selections, along with numerous school, pool, and meet records. 

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN SWIM TRADITION
Nebraska Wesleyan is entering its 11th season and has developed into a regional powerhouse, with the men and women's teams combining for six runner up finishes at the A-R-C championship meet. Additionally, the Prairie Wolf men won their first American Rivers Conference title in 2023. The program has also seen countless all-conference selections.
