LINCOLN, Neb. (February 19th, 2025) - After nearly a month off, Nebraska Wesleyan swimming returns to the pool at the 2025 American Rivers Conference Championship meet.

ABOUT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
This weekend will see Nebraska Wesleyan compete in its 10th overall meet of the season. The Prairie Wolves have competed at five dual meets, with the women posting a 4-1 record, while the men went 3-2. Both teams defeated Morningside University in their last meet. Nebraska Wesleyan has competed at four invitational meets. While the Prairie Wolves are yet to win an invitational meet, the women earned three second place finishes, while the men took second once. Overall, the Black and Gold have performed well individually, securing multiple first place finishes and setting over a dozen school records.
HEAD COACH KYLE HUNT
Kyle Hunt is in his fourth season as the head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. During his tenure, Hunt has guided the Nebraska Wesleyan men and women to two runner up finishes at the American Rivers Conference Swim and Dive Championships. During the 2023-24 season, Hunt led the Nebraska Wesleyan men's team to its first American Rivers Conference Championship. Hunt's tenure has seen countless All-Conference selections, along with numerous school, pool, and meet records.
NEBRASKA WESLEYAN SWIM TRADITION
Entering year 10 as a program, Nebraska Wesleyan has a brief but growing swim tradition, that has seen the Prairie Wolf men capture the American Rivers Conference crown in 2023, and four total runner up finishes at the A-R-C championship meet. The program has also seen countless all-conference selections.
