Women's Basketball Begins Second Half of Conference Slate with Trips to Central and Coe

Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan women's basketball will begin the second half of its conference schedule at Central and Coe.

GAME TIME, LOCATION, LIVE STREAM & LIVE STATS
Nebraska Wesleyan and Central will tip off at 5:30 p.m., on Wednesday, January 28tb at P.H. Kuyper Gymnasium, in Pella, Iowa. Central will live stream the game and carry live stats. Nebraska Wesleyan will take on Coe on Saturday, February 1st at 2:00 p.m. The game will be played at Kohawk Arena, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Coe will live stream the game and carry live stats

ABOUT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan enters this week 4-14 overall and 1-8 in the American Rivers Conference. The Prairie Wolves were defeated by Luther, 86-50 in their last game and have lost three straight games. NWU last won on January 10th, a 64-59 triumph over Dubuque. The Prairie Wolves average 58.1 points per game and shoot at a .361 clip from the field. Nebraska Wesleyan's leading scorer is Anastyn Pettlon, who scores 12.6 points per contest, while also knocking down 43 three point shots. Central enters Wednesday 7-11 overall and 2-7 in the American Rivers Conference. The Dutch were defeated in overtime by Buena Vista, 70-63, in their last game. The Dutch average 59.4 points per game and allow 64.7 points per game. Central is led by Justin Weiland, in his third season

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST CENTRAL
Wednesday marks the 33rd meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Central. The Dutch hold a 20-12 all-time series lead, which includes a 73-70 win earlier this season.

SCOUTING COE
Coe enters this week 14-4 overall and 8-1 in the American Rivers Conference. Prior to facing NWU, Coe will host Buena Vista on Wednesday, January 28th. The Kohawks average 65.6 points per game and allow 50.6 points per game. Coe is led by Kayla Waskow, in her ninth season.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST COE
Saturday marks the 23rd meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Coe. The Kohawks hold a 21-1 all-time series lead, which includes a 64-53 win earlier this season.
