Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis will wrap up its 2025 American Rivers Conference slate with a trip to Simpson, and home matches against Coe and Luther.
LOCATION & MATCH TIME
Nebraska Wesleyan's first match of the week will be against Simpson College on Wednesday, October 1st, at 4:00 p.m. The Prairie Wolves will then return home to take on Coe College on Friday, October 3rd, at 3:00 p.m., before concluding the week on Saturday with a 3:00 p.m. match against Luther
ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan dropped a close 4-3 match to Dubuque, in their last contest. The Prairie Wolves head to Simpson sporting a 1-5 overall record, with a 1-4 record against American Rivers Conference opponents. In doubles play, NWU has earned the lone available point in two of six matches, against Buena Vista and Dubuque. In singles play, Nebraska Wesleyan has had seven players see varsity action, with 
Kylie Engelsman has posting a team best 4-2 record, and 
Parker Brown holding strong at 3-3.

Jayna Erickson have combined to go 5-19. 
HEAD COACH LEE STEINBROOK 
Lee Steinbrook is in his sixth year as head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan. Under his leadership, the Prairie Wolves have consistently grown and competed at a high level, with multiple players earning conference honors. Steinbrook's focus on developing both the athletic and academic skills of his players has been a cornerstone of the team's success.

A LOOK AT THE STORM
Simpson holds a 1-6 record entering Wednesday, with their lone win coming on September 8th, against Grand View University. Prior to facing NWU, Simpson will visit Coe and Cornell College. The Storm are led by Nicole Berger, in her second season.
SERIES HISTORY AGAINST SIMPSON COLLEGE
Wednesday will see Nebraska Wesleyan and Simpson meet for the 10th time. Nebraska Wesleyan leads the all-time series 5-4.
A LOOK AT THE KOHAWKS
Coe enters this week 1-2, with matches scheduled against Simpson, Cornell, Loras, and Buena Vista, before facing NWU on Friday. The Kohawks are led by Mike Strydom, in his sixth season.

Luther enters this week 6-1 after suffering its first defeat of the season on Saturday, September 27th, against Carleton College. The Norse are 5-0 in A-R-C play, with matches scheduled against Dubuque, Buena Bista, and Morningside before Saturday;s showdown with Nebraska Wesleyan. The Norse are led by Adam Strand, in his 16th season.
