Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan women's tennis earned a dominant 6-1 victory over Buena Vista on Saturday. The Prairie Wolves went 5-1 in singles play before earning the doubles point with a clean sweep.
How It Happened
In one doubles, Caitlin Hudson and Crystal Craft were defeated 6-3. Parker Brown and Kylie Englesman, earned a win at number two doubles as they breezed by their challengers 6-1. Ella Mahaffy and Jayna Erickson earned the doubles point with a 7-5 win in three doubles.
In singles play Crystal Craft dug deep and earned 7-5 and 6-4 victories in one singles. Kylie Engelsman followed suit with 6-3, 6-2 wins, while Parker Brown dominated her opponent with two 6-1 wins. Caitlin Hudson battled hard but lost her set in four singles 6-7, and 8-10. Jayna Erickson swept her BVU opponent, while Sylvia Kamradt earned 6-1 and 6-3 victories.
