How It Happened
NWU came out competitive in doubles, securing a win at the No. 1 spot. Seniors Crystal Craft paired with Caitlin Hudson to earn the Prairie Wolves' first point of the day, but Central captured the other two matches to grab a 1–0 overall lead heading into singles.
In singles play, Engelsman once again stood out. The freshman delivered a third set tiebreaker victory at the No. 2 position to give NWU its lone singles point of the match. Despite hard-fought efforts across the lineup, Central was able to close out the remaining courts to secure the team win.
