Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan enters this weekend 3-1, after posting wins over Crown College, Concordia (MN), and Minnesota Morris last weekend. The Prairie Wolves will take on Carleton College and Bethel University on Friday. Saturday will see NWU face North Park and the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will host the tournament, with all games played at Don Page Arena, in River Falls, Wisconsin. Nebraska Wesleyan will battle Carleton College and Bethel University at 11:00 a.m.m and 5:00 p.m.m on Friday, September 5th. On Saturday, the Prairie Wolves will play North Park at 11:00 a.m., before concluding the tournament with a 3:00 p.m. match against Wisconsin-River Falls. A LOOK AT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan enters the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite fresh off a 3-1 finish at the CSB Tournament last weekend. Nebraska Wesleyan won their three matches by a combined margin of 9-1, with the lone defeat being a five set thriller to the College of St. Benedict. The Prairie Wolves enter this weekend with a team hitting percentage of .206, and averaging 13.4 kills per set. In total, NWU has recorded 201 kills on 554 attempts. The Black and Gold have picked up 193 assists, while totaling 31 aces. Defensively, Nebraska Wesleyan has tallied 270 digs, and 14 blocks. Individually, Macy Plucker leads the team, with 57 kills and a hitting percentage of .151. Molly Ramirez also started the season strong, posting 42 kills and team best .351 hitting percentage. Elecea Saathoff recorded a rocket start to the season with 165 assists. Defensively, Raegan Holle had an elite tournament with 72 digs and a receiving percentage of .949. In the middle, Ella Foote leads the team in blocks with nine. 

INSTANT IMPACT
Freshman Macy Plucker burst onto the stage with four quality performances in her first collegiate tournament. As one of two starting freshman for NWU, Plucker averaged 14.25 kills per match, while posting a hitting percentage of .151. Defensively, Plucker recorded 36 digs and three blocks. 

HEAD COACH RAYNA CAIN
Head Coach Rayna Cain enters her 14th season at the helm, with a career record of 197-151. She's guided NWU to one NCAA tournament appearance and coached 31 All-Conference athletes. 

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN VOLLEYBALL TRADITION
Nebraska Wesleyan boasts a proud history in volleyball, with 15 NCAA Division III tournament appearances, and five conference championships. Academically, NWU has posted 22 AVCA team academic awards since 1997. 

SCOUTING CARLETON COLLEGE
Carleton College enters this weekend with an 0-3 record. Prior to facing NWU, the Knights will face Simpson College at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 5th. The Knights hold a hitting percentage of .119, while tallying 128 kills, 122 assists, 21 aces, 174 digs, and 11 blocks. The Knights are led by Abby Walton in her fourth season.
