LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan University's Emmilly Berglund has been named USTFCCCA All-Region honorees for the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field season, as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday.
Berglund, a sophomore from Shelton, Nebraska, ranks third in the Midwest Region in the shot put with a top mark of 14.25 meters. She will compete at the NCAA Indoor Championships, entering the meet as the fourth seed.
The top-five individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.
Berglund will represent Nebraska Wesleyan at the NCAA Indoor Championships, held March 14-15 in Rochester, New York. She is scheduled to throw at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
