LINCOLN, Neb. (February 19th, 2025) - Nebraska Wesleyan is set to visit Central and host Buena Vista in the final week of the 2024-25 regular season.

Nebraska Wesleyan will visit Central on Wednesday, February 19th, with game time set for 7:30 p.m. Central will live stream the game and carry live stats. ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan (17-6, 10-4 A-R-C) suffered a heartbreaking, 77-75 double overtime loss to Coe on Saturday. The Prairie Wolves currently sit in second place in the American Rivers Conference with two games remaining. 

Through 23 games, Nebraska Wesleyan has scored an average of 71.7 points per game. NWU is led by Jack Groeteke and Carter Glenn who average 14.7 and 13.8 points per game. As a team, the Prairie Wolves shoot at a 42.8% clip from the floor, while posting a 33.7% mark from beyond the arc. NWU has also shoots 73.5% from the charity stripe. HEAD COACH DALE WELLMAN
Dale Wellman is in his 11th season as the head coach of Nebraska Wesleyan Men's Basketball, having led the Prairie Wolves to numerous accomplishments, including a national championship in 2018. Under his guidance, the program has seen five A-R-C Regular Season titles and multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. Wellman boasts an all-time record of 211-74.

Nebraska Wesleyan boasts a history of basketball excellence. Winning the national championship in 2018 and finishing runner-up in 1997, the Prairie Wolves have made five NCAA Division III Final Fours, appeared in 18 NCAA Division III tournaments, and won 16 conference championships.
