Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan will welcome the University of Dallas, Buena Vista and Crown College to Lincoln this weekend for the 36th annual Snyder Classic. 

TOURNAMENT INFO
The Snyder Classic will see four games over the span of Friday, November 28th, and Saturday, November 29th. On Friday, Buena Vista and Crown will tip off the tournament at 5:00 p.m. Nebraska Wesleyan and the University of Dallas will be the nightcap with a 7:00 p.m. tip. On Saturday, Buena Vista will face the University of Dallas at 3:00 p.m., before Nebraska Wesleyan closes the tournament against Crown at 5:00 p.m. All live streams and live stats will be provided by Nebraska Wesleyan. NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan split its road trip to Washington last weekend, defeating Pudget Sound 63-59, before falling to Pacific Lutheran. Overall, Nebraska Wesleyan enters this weekend with a 2-3 record. The Prairie Wolves average 67 points per game on a.398 shooting percentage. NWU has made 49-150 three point shots, while shooting .584 from the free throw line. Offensively, with Christian Winn averaging a team best 13.8 points per game. Neal Mosser and Nick Howard also average double figures at 10.4 and 10 points per game. As a team, NWU has dished out 69 assists, with Seth Newton and Christian Winn tied for the team lead with 12. The Black and Gold are a tough rebounding team, averaging 33 rebounds per game. Newton averages a team best 6.8 rebounds per game. Dale Wellman is in his 12th season as the head coach of Nebraska Wesleyan Men's Basketball, having led the Prairie Wolves to numerous accomplishments, including a national championship in 2018. Under his guidance, the program has seen five A-R-C Regular Season titles and multiple NCAA Tournament appearances. Wellman boasts an all-time record of 216-78

SWISS ARMY KNIFE
Seth Newton has been a swiss army knife for Nebraska Wesleyan through five games. On offense, Newton averages a respectable 5.2 points, while leading the team with 11 offensive rebounds and tying for the team lead with 12 assists. Defensively, Newton has brought down 23 rebounds while ranking third on the team in steals with eight and tying for the team lead with two blocked shots.

BUENA VISTA
Buena Vista is 2-1 and earned an 83-78 overtime victory over Bethel University in their last game. The Beavers average 77.3 points per game and make .409 percent of their shots. Buena Vista has knocked down 30 of 89 three point attempts and shoots .761 from the free throw line. The Beavers average 34.3 rebounds per game and have totaled 51 assists. Defensively, BVU allows 74.7 points per game, while recording 17 steals and four blocked shots. The Beavers are led by Jeff Horner, in his first season.

CROWN COLLEGE
Crown College is 3-3 and enters this weekend fresh off a 76-66 victory over Saint Mary's. The Polars average 68.5 points per game and shoot .379 from the floor. Crown holds a .288 percentage from beyond the arc and shoots .663 from the free throw line. Crown averages 41 rebounds per game and has tallied 81 assists. Defensively, Crown allows 68.8 points per game, while recording 26 steals and 15 blocked shots. The Polars are led by Luke Herbert, in his 15th season.

UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS
Dallas enters this weekend 1-3 overall and was dealt a 77-73 defeat by Pudget Sound in their last game. The Crusaders average 63.3 points per game and make .411 from the floor. Dallas has made .338 of their three point shots and holds a .693 mark from the free throw line. The Crusaders average 32.3 rebounds per game and have recorded 38 assists. Defensively, Dallas allows 71.3 points per game, with 21 steals and 10 blocked shots
