Volleyball to Conclude Regular Season with Doubleheader Against Westminster

Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan will conclude its 2025 regular season with a doubleheader at Westminster College Tuesday afternoon.

GAME TIME, LOCATION, LIVE STREAM & LIVE STATS
Nebraska Wesleyan and Westminster will play at 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, November 4th. Both matches will be played at Westminster Historic Gymnasium, in Fulton, Missouri. Westminster will live stream both games and carry live stats.

A LOOK AT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan was defeated by Coe in its last match, but has won five of its last seven games. Through 24 games, the Prairie Wolves are 16-8 overall, and 4-4 in American Rivers Conference play. The Black and Gold maintain a solid .184 hitting percentage, while scoring an average of 15.87 points per set. As a team, NWU has tallied 1,175 kills, 1,091 assists, and 176 aces. Individually, Macy Plucker headlines a dynamic offense with 324 kills, while Molly Ramirez ranks second on the team with 279 kills. Nebraska Wesleyan's offense is often set up by Elecea Saathoff, who has dished out 971 assists. When the Prairie Wolves are serving, Sydney Benson and Ava Stone have been excellent, totaling 38 and 36 aces. Defensively, NWU allows 13.29 points per set, while posting 1,533 total digs, and 140.5 blocks. Raegan Holle leads the team with 389 digs. In the middle, Ella Foote, is a force to be reckoned with as she has recorded 67 blocks.

HEAD COACH RAYNA CAIN
Head Coach Rayna Cain is in her 14th season at the helm, with a career record of 210-159. She's guided NWU to one NCAA tournament appearance and coached 31 All-Conference athletes. 

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN VOLLEYBALL TRADITION
Nebraska Wesleyan boasts a proud history in volleyball, with 15 NCAA Division III tournament appearances, and five conference championships. Academically, NWU has posted 22 AVCA team academic awards since 1997. 

SCOUTING WESTMINSTER
Westminster holds a 25-5 record through 30 games, and has won 13 consecutive matches. The Blue Jays carry a .237 hitting percentage while averaging 16.43 points per set. Offensively, the Blue Jays have totaled 1,340 kills, 1,223 assists, 248 aces. Defensively, Westminster allows 12.77 points per set, and has recorded 1,672 digs, and 186 blocks. The Blue Jays are led by Dalton Tucker.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST WESTMINSTER
Tuesday will see Nebraska Wesleyan and Westminster meet for the third and fourth times, with the teams splitting their first two meetings.
