Lincoln, NE - Nebraska Wesleyan volleyball will wrap up its 2025 A-R-C schedule against Luther and Coe this weekend.

GAME TIME, LOCATION, LIVE STREAM & LIVE STATS
Nebraska Wesleyan will host Luther on Friday, October 31st, at 6:00 p.m. On November 1st, the Prairie Wolves will host Coe at 11:00 a.m. Nebraska Wesleyan will live stream both games and carry live stats. 

A LOOK AT NEBRASKA WESLEYAN
Nebraska Wesleyan earned home wins over Doane and Wartburg last week, and has won four of their last five matches. The Prairie Wolves are 15-7 overall and 3-3 in American Rivers Conference play.  As a team, NWU has recorded a .186 hitting percentage, while averaging 15.76 points per set. Offensively, the Prairie Wolves have tallied 1,084 kills, 1,010 assists and 158 aces. Macy Plucker, Molly Ramirez, and Jera Schuerman spearhead a dynamic offensive attack with each recording 220 or more kills. The offense is set up by Elecea Saathoff, who leads the team with 901 assists. Sydney Benson has been excellent at serving, totaling 34 aces. Defensively, NWU allows 13.28 points per set, with 1,437 digs and 129.5 blocks. Raegan Holle leads the team in digs with 373, while Ella Foote has posted 62 blocks.

HEAD COACH RAYNA CAIN
Head Coach Rayna Cain is in her 14th season at the helm, with a career record of 209-158. She's guided NWU to one NCAA tournament appearance and coached 31 All-Conference athletes. 

NEBRASKA WESLEYAN VOLLEYBALL TRADITION
Nebraska Wesleyan boasts a proud history in volleyball, with 15 NCAA Division III tournament appearances, and five conference championships. Academically, NWU has posted 22 AVCA team academic awards since 1997. 

LATE SEASON RALLY
After a mid-season road trip left NWU at 11-6 overall and 1-2 in the A-R-C, the Prairie Wolves used a bye week to find their groove and have been nearly unstoppable since, defeating College of Saint Mary and Loras by a combined score of 6-1. The Prairie Wolves were then bested at #20 Dubuque in five sets before returning home to defeat Doane and Wartburg.

SCOUTING LUTHER
Luther enters this week 6-20 and was defeated by Central in their last game. The Norse hold a .136 hitting percentage, with 958 kills, 868 assists, and 199 aces. Defensively, the Norse have tallied 1,334 digs, and 102 blocks. Luther is led by interm head coach Arturro Diaz. 

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST LUTHER
Friday will mark the 17th meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Luther. The Prairie Wolves lead the all-time series 14-2.

SCOUTING COE
Coe enters this week 15-8 after falling to Grinnell in their last match. Prior to facing NWU, Coe will visit Buena Visita on Friday, October 31st. Coe holds a .187 hitting percentage, with 1,160 kills, 1,026 assists, and 152 aces. Defensively, the Kohawks have tallied 1,521 digs and 110 blocks. Coe is led by April Elsbernd, in her first season.

SERIES HISTORY AGAINST COE
Saturday will mark the 18th meeting between Nebraska Wesleyan and Coe. The Kohawks leads the all-time series 9-8.
