LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan University's Beatrice Massa Micon has been named the American Rivers Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday.
Massa Micon delivered a standout performance in the Prairie Wolves' dominant 144-19 victory over Morningside. She claimed first in the 100-yard backstroke, touching the wall in 59.63. Her impact extended to the relays, where she contributed to wins in both the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay.
This marks Massa Micon's first conference recognition of the season and highlights her critical role in Nebraska Wesleyan's continued success in the pool.
The Prairie Wolves return to action in February as they prepare for the American Rivers Conference Championships held February 20-22 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
