Box Score 2 LINCOLN, Neb. (September 7th, 2024) - Nebraska Wesleyan fell to Gustavus Adolphus in the morning, but bounced back to defeat Augsburg to wrap up trip to Minnesota.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first set saw Nebraska Wesleyan and Gustavus Adolphus in a gridlock early with Nebraska Wesleyan gaining a 10-9 lead. However, the Golden Gusties took control of the set from their, outscoring the Prairie Wolves 16-11 the rest of the way.
Kobie Patten was exceptional in the set as she recorded four kills. The second set was similar to the first, as the teams traded leads early before Gustavus Adolphus took a 12-11 lead. The Gusties would not relinquish the lead, winning 25-20.
Addie Thomas tallied four kills in the set. After two close sets, the Gusties dominated set three winning 25-12.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Augsburg came out firing, winning the first set by a score of 25-10. Nebraska Wesleyan responded in set two, leading start to finish and winning 25-17.

Addie Thomas each had four kills in the set. Nebraska Wesleyan continued to roll in set three, winning 25-15.
Molly Ramirez took over in the set, recording six kills. The fourth set was highly contested early as Nebraska Wesleyan couldn't grow its lead greater than five. Later in the set, Augsburg took a 23-21 lead, before Nebraska Wesleyan rallied back to claim a 25-23 victory.
