LINCOLN, Neb. (September 3rd, 2024) - After an eventful season opener, featuring an emphatic 8-0 win and a narrow 1-0 loss, Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer is back in Nebraska, ready to take on York University this Wednesday.

ABOUT THE PRAIRIE WOLVES
Nebraska Wesleyan (1-1, 0-0 A-R-C) opened the season with a pair of games in Illinois. The Prairie Wolves defeated Principia College in their first game, 8-0, but fell to Illinois College, 1-0, the following day.
Averie Hike led Nebraska Wesleyan during the road trip, scoring two goals, and tallying one assist. Hike enters Wednesday's match with a team high five points on the season. Freshmen

HEAD COACH KEVIN LEBAHN
Kevin Lebahn is in his second season as the head coach at Nebraska Wesleyan where he has compiled a 3-13-2 record. Prior to joining the Prairie Wolves, Lebahn worked as a men's soccer assistant coach, goalkeeper coach, and women's assistant soccer coach at Iowa Western Community College. In 2021, Lebahn helped the Iowa Western men's soccer team win the NJCAA Division I national championship.
