Women's Soccer Falls to Dordt

LINCOLN, Neb. (September 14, 2024) – Nebraska Wesleyan women's soccer fell 5-0 to Dordt University on Saturday afternoon in Sioux Center, Iowa.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Dordt University struck first, scoring in the 18th minute with a goal from Ellie Stuart. Nebraska Wesleyan struggled to break through Dordt's defense, managing just three shots in the first half. The Prairie Wolves went into halftime down 1-0.

The second half saw Dordt's offense explode, scoring four goals within 15 minutes. Nebraska Wesleyan managed five total shots, two of which were on goal, but could not find the back of the net. Dordt took 21 shots, with 11 on target, dominating the game offensively.
