LINCOLN, Neb. (April 9, 2024) - The Nebraska Wesleyan softball team traveled to Indianola, Iowa, to play a double header against Simpson College on Tuesday. The Storm swept the Priairie Wolves, winning game one 9-0, and game two 8-0.

GAME ONE 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Simpson took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the second on a three run home run.
• A second Storm home run made the score 5-0 in the bottom of the third.
• In the fifth, Simpson extended their lead to 6-0 on a solo home run.
• Simpson added three more runs in the sixth, the first occurring on a sacrifice fly and the other two coming from a two run home run.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Simpson rushed out to an early lead, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning.
• The Storm added one more in the second inning.
• Simpson added four more in the sixth and cruised to an 8-0 victory.
