Lincoln, Neb. (April 7, 2024) - Nebraska Wesleyan fell to 8-15 on the season following two losses to Loras on Sunday. The Duhawks won game one 7-5, and game two 9-1.
GAME ONE
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Evan Kling got Nebraska Wesleyan going with an RBI single in the top of the first. However, Loras responded by scoring four runs in the bottom half of the inning.
- The Duhawks extended their lead by scoring two runs in the third.
- A fourth inning sacrifice fly from Max Bugbee made the score 6-2 Loras. Loras got the run right back by scoring in the bottom half of the inning.
- In the fifth, Aaron Chazin scored on a single from Owen Machal to make the score 7-3 Loras.
- A sixth inning single from Carter Betts resulted in two Nebraska Wesleyan runs following throwing errors by Loras. After six innings, the score was 7-5 Loras.
- Nebraska Wesleyan was unable to score in the seventh and Loras took game one of the double header.

- Nebraska Wesleyan was unable to rally as Loras swept the double header.
