Baseball Falls to Wartburg in First Game of Road Trip

LINCOLN, Neb. (April 5, 2024) - Nebraska Wesleyan fell to the Knights of Wartburg College, 3-1, on Friday afternoon to move to 7-12 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • In the fourth inning, a wild pitch thrown by Nebraska Wesleyan allowed Wartburg to score the first run of the game.
  • The Prairie Wolves tied the game at one in the top of the sixth on an Evan Kling RBI single.
  • Wartburg broke the tie with two runs in the bottom of the eighth.
  • Nebraska Wesleyan was unable to score in the top of the ninth and Wartburg took game one of the series.
