HOW IT HAPPENED
- A sluggish beginning from the Prairie Wolves saw the Tigers take an early 6-0 lead. However, a three-pointer from the Lincoln native, Carter Glenn, put Nebraska Wesleyan on the board, 6-3.
- Hampden-Sydney's Adam Brazil remained a threat for NWU, going 4-6 from beyond the arc with 15:06 left in the first half, bringing the score to 15-3.
- Not allowing the gap to grow, the 6-11 forward Jack Groeteke stepped out for a corner three, followed by a layup from Carter Glenn, cutting the deficit to nine points, 19-10.
