LINCOLN, Neb. (March 5th, 2024) - Nebraska Wesleyan fell to East Central by a score of 7-4, Tuesday afternoon. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• East Central got rolling early, scoring four runs in the top of the first.
• The Tigers would add one to their lead with one run in the second.
• Brady Bell got Nebraska Wesleyan on the board with an RBI single in the fourth.
• East Central would add to their lead with one run in the fifth.
• In the top of the sixth, Jason English hit an RBI triple to cut the East Central's lead to four. The Tigers would respond by putting up a run of their own in the bottom half of the inning.
• Thomas Fiocchi would score on a sacrifice fly from Aaron Chazin in the seventh.
• An Aaron Chazin single cut East Central's lead to three but Nebraska Wesleyan was unable to find enough offense to tie the game as East Central earned the sweep.
