Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska Wesleyan women's basketball team suffered an 83-27 loss to Simpson on Wednesday evening. The loss drops Nebraska Wesleyan to 0-18 on the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• After Nebraska Wesleyan jumped out to a 2-0 lead, Simpson responded by going on a 25-4 run to close the quarter and led 25-6 after one quarter of play.
• The Storm continued to pull away in the second quarter outscoring the Prairie Wolves 20-6 and building a 45-12 lead as the game went to halftime. 
• Despite the nearly impossible deficit, the Prairie Wolves continued to fight, however Simpson continued to pile on the points and led 72-22 at the end of the third quarter.
• Simpson finished the game by outscoring Nebraska Wesleyan 11-5 in the final period.
