LINCOLN, Neb. – Nebraska Wesleyan University football standout Owen Anthony has been named to the D3football.com All-Region 5 Second Team, as announced on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Anthony, a junior offensive guard from Lincoln, Nebraska, adds this accolade to an already impressive list of achievements this season.
Anthony is the first Prairie Wolf offensive lineman to earn D3football.com All-Region honors in program history. A cornerstone of NWU's offensive line, Anthony played a pivotal role in the team's success, anchoring a unit that finished fourth in the American Rivers Conference in total rushing yards (1,151) and allowed the fewest sacks (13) in the league.
Hailing from Lincoln Southeast High School, Anthony showcased his skill and consistency week in and week out, paving the way for NWU's dynamic offensive attack. His performance earned him First Team All-American Rivers Conference honors earlier this season, solidifying his reputation as one of the premier linemen in the region.
