LINCOLN, Neb. (October 5, 2024) – The Nebraska Wesleyan men's golf team finished in sixth place at the Nebraska Intercollegiate Classic, held at the challenging Lochland Country Club in Hastings, Nebraska. Facing familiar competition, the Prairie Wolves struggled to find consistency, posting a team score of +27 over two rounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Nebraska Wesleyan shot an opening round of 295, but a second-round 308 saw them slip down the leaderboard, finishing behind Hastings College, Northeast Community College, and Bellevue University. Geran Sander led the Prairie Wolves, tying for 12th place individually with a total of +4. Brayden Schram was next for NWU, finishing tied for 20th with a +6. Rounding out the lineup were Harrison Weddell at +8, Jackson Lapour at +11, and Travis Tilford at +16.
The Prairie Wolves now stand at 54-6 on the season, but they will need to regroup quickly if they hope to regain momentum.
