HOW IT HAPPENED

• On Wednesday night, the Prairie Wolves took down the Buena Vista University Beavers inside Snyder Arena, 84-73. 
• In the opening moments of the game, a three-pointer from Carter Glenn ignited Nebraska Wesleyan's offense. Peter Lash and Glenn led the Prairie Wolves with 11 points each in the first half. 
• NWU maintained the lead throughout the opening half, heading into the locker room with a 45-35 advantage. 
• NWU continued their momentum as they entered the second, with a layup from Jack Groeteke and a three-pointer from Peter Lash, expanding the Prairie Wolves' lead to 50-37. 
• With 8:51 remaining, the Beavers narrowed the gap to five points. Dale Wellman's squad responded with an aggressive presence crashing boards, outrebounding Buena Vista 23-16. 
• Free throws from Peter Lash locked up the Black and Gold's 84-73 victory over the Beavers with 20 seconds remaining. Lash led all scorers with 23 points, while Jack Groeteke contributed 18 points and 13 rebounds. 
• NWU advances to a 15-2 record on the season, and extends their winning streak to 10 games. 
• For the first time this season, the Prairie Wolves recorded a win with three players scoring more than 15 points.
