Men's Soccer Takes Down Regionally Ranked, Loras College, for the First Time Since 2017

HOW IT HAPPENED 

  • The Duhawks initiated an early defensive test for the Prairie Wolves, netting a goal at the 2:53 mark. 
  • Zachary Weis recorded three saves in the first half to prevent the Duhawks from extending their lead. 
  • At the 78:38 mark Jaden Hayes broke the deadlock and found the back of the net with an assist from Isaac Havemeier leveling the score at 1-1. 
  • Not long after Jaden Hayes kept the momentum going for the black and gold and scored his second goal of the night, giving the Prairie Wolves the 2-1 lead.  
  • The two goals from Jaden Hayes secured the win for the Prairie Wolves late in the second half. 
  • This marks the Prairie Wolves' second victory over Loras since joining the A-R-C, with their previous win against the Duhawks dating back to 2017 when the Black and Gold emerged triumphant. 
  • The Prairie Wolves remain unbeaten on their home turf, marking their strongest performance on home soil since the 2019 season for the Men's soccer team.
