HOW IT HAPPENED

• Nebraska Wesleyan was held scoreless in their 2023 debut against Rhodes College. The Prairie Wolves were defeated 3-0.
• Freshman, Faith Forehand, ended the day with one shot taken and one shot on goal.
• In a last minute attempt for the Black and Gold, Hannah Ghannam took a shot which was blocked by the Lynx's goalie.
• Saturday's shutout marked the first time since 2020 that NWU has been unable to find the back of the net in a season opener.
