HOW IT HAPPENED

• On Sunday afternoon, Nebraska Wesleyan University defeated Illinois College 3-1. The Prairie Wolves continue their triumph over the Lady Blues, winning the last three matchups since 2021.
• NWU's Lauren Keith put pressure on Illinois College right out of the gate, scoring a goal in the 5th minute of the first period assited by Natalie Cummins, 1-0.
• Moments later, Faith Forehand went on to make the score 2-0 with a scorching shot into the back of the net. Senior Kaeding Rassfeld was credited with the assist, 2-0.
• The Lady Blues tried to make a comeback, scoring a late goal in the second period, but Kaeding Rassfeld cemented the win for the Prairie Wolves with a goal in the 79th minute, 3-1.
• Sunday's win marks the first win for Head Coach Kevin Lebahn at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
